2024 Lunar New Year Bookings
The Lunar New Years begins with the first new moon of the lunar calendar and ends on the first full moon of the lunar calendar, 15 days later. So there is plenty of time to book Lion Dancers for your event!
This coming New Year will fall on Saturday, 10th February 2024. Packs of lions will be roaming through the streets accompanied by traditional music played by heart pounding drums, resounding gongs and clashing cymbals.
The lion dance is one of the most important traditions at Lunar New Year. It is performed to bring prosperity and good luck for the upcoming year. The Lions themselves symbolises power, wisdom and superiority, and the loud music that follows is said to scare away bad omens so good spirits may provide good opportunities.
